The Cyprus Orthodontic Society aims to:
● Provide scientific support and continuous education for orthodontists in Cyprus
● Protect and inform the public on matters related to orthodontic health
● Ensure the provision of orthodontic care based on high scientific and ethical standards
● Promote collaboration with other scientific communities and healthcare organizations in Cyprus and abroad

Orthodontics as a Specialty

Orthodontics is a specialized branch of dentistry focused on the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of problems related to the alignment and occlusion of the teeth and jaws.
Proper orthodontic care not only creates a beautiful smile but also plays a vital role in overall oral health and quality of life.

In Cyprus, the title of Orthodontist is reserved for professionals who have completed an accredited specialization in orthodontics and are registered in the Orthodontists’ Register of the Cyprus Dental Council.
